LAS VEGAS – Neurolens announced the availability of a newly enhanced Measurement Device here at Vision Expo West.
The new streamlined software enhances the device’s eye tracking ability, which will improve patient outcomes, the company said in a press release.
Patients experiencing headaches, neck/shoulder pain and eyestrain with the use of digital devices, reading or detailed work can be measured with the Neurolens device and then prescribed spectacle lenses with contoured prisms to help bring the eyes into alignment.
The company also announced the roll-out of a patient financing partnership with Affirm to help reach more patients, Neurolens CEO Davis Corley, told Primary Care Optometry News.
In addition, the company recently appointed Matt Swartz as vice president of sales and business development. Swartz was previously senior director of strategic accounts for Essilor of America, where he had a 17-year tenure.
“We’ve started the growth of our team and will continue,” Corley said. “We are in five territories now and will grow rapidly in 2020. We will provide greater access of the sales force to our customers and future customers. We want to provide a differentiated solution for patients and doctors.”
Corley said Neurolens will be able to help primary care optometrists with the medical side of their practices and enable them to offer a premium product. – by Nancy Hemphill, ELS, FAAO
