LAS VEGAS – While certain requirements of health care reform may make practicing optometry more expensive and take time away from patient care, there are good points, Tim Petito, OD, FAAO, said here at Vision Expo West.
“The technologies that we incorporate under the health care reform mandate have … forced us to become more efficient, see more patients with fewer mistakes and provide more collaborative care,” he said. “Our outcomes are better.”
