LAS VEGAS – Sight Sciences introduced TEaM, its TearCare Education and Mentorship program, here at Vision Expo West.

TEaM is a peer-to-peer program that helps with practice management, patient flow and post-care regimens, according to Jim Sluck, vice president of marketing, dry eye, Sight Sciences.

“Our vision is to make it easy for doctors to treat meibomian gland dysfunction,” Sluck told Primary Care Optometry News.

Sight Sciences will offer TearCare users access to doctor mentors for assistance in implementing the technology in their practices.

Sluck said the program answers these questions: How do I adopt TearCare in practice? How do I get better at it? How do I do more? – by Nancy Hemphill, ELS, FAAO

Disclosure: Sluck is employed by Sight Sciences.
