Zenni introduces blue light-blocking lenses for children

Zenni announced the release of Blokz Trivex impact resistant, blue light-blocking lenses to meet safety standards and durability for children.
“It is important for parents to protect their children’s eyesight at any age,” Bai Gan, Zenni’s chief product officer said in the release. “With this industry first offering, parents can now provide the safety and protection children need for their developing eyes without compromising visual performance for play and schoolwork.”
Blokz Trivex lenses will be competitively priced, the company said in the release. They are described as lightweight, providing children with optimal vision quality, and durable for children both at play and in classrooms.
The blue light-blocking lenses help protect developing eyes from the light of digital screens, artificial light and sunlight, Zenni said, absorbing blue light and combating the effects of digital eye strain.
