VIDEO: In the eye, MS can be more than optic neuritis

NEPTUNE, N.J. – Optometrists can use their in-office technology to recognize signs and symptoms of multiple sclerosis, according to Patricia Modica, OD, here at a seminar hosted by the New Jersey Academy of Optometry.

“When we think about MS, we think about optic neuritis, but there are a number of other ways that MS will present to an eye care provider,” such as double vision, misalignment and nystagmus, she said.
