VIDEO: Remember to ask cataract surgery patients about Flomax use
NEW YORK – Clark Chang, OD, MSA, MSc, FAAO, gave a talk on cataract surgery problem-solving here at Vision Expo East and said communication is a big component.
He said to be sure to ask patients if they take Flomax (tamsulosin, Sanofi-Aventis), particularly a generic form. He said to communicate that with the surgeon, so they are completely aware and can prepared for potential floppy iris syndrome.
