VIDEO: Tarsorrhaphy may be indicated in severe dry eye patients

Here at the Twin Cities Ocular Surface Disease Symposium, David Hardten, MD, said tarsorrhaphy may be indicated when patients being aggressively managed for dry eye still have problems.

The procedure may be indicated in patients with neurotrophic keratitis, zoster, simplex and conjunctival chalasis, he said.
