Opternative has announced a partnership with LD Vision Group that will allow the companies to provide online access for patients to renew prescriptions for contact lens and glasses.

Through the partnership, Opternative will continue its mission for customers to have affordable and convenient access to their eye care needs, according to a press release from Opternative.

The company’s website, OnlineVisionTest.com, provides an online refractive eye test through which patients can subsequently obtain a physician-issued prescription. Partnering with LD Vision Group, which sells contact lens online at a discounted rate, will more effectively serve patients, Opternative said.

“This is an exciting time at Opternative as we continue to expand access to low cost, accurate and safe contact lens and glasses prescriptions,” Brent Rasmussen, CEO of Opternative, said in the release. “We are very happy to add LD Vision Group to our roster of partners and we look forward to working with their team to support the prescription needs of their patients.”
