DENVER – Here at Optometry’s Meeting, Lyndon Jones, BSc, PhD, FCOptom, DipCLP, DipOrth, FAAO, FIACLE, FBCLA, discussed how the Center for Ocular Research and Education at the University of Waterloo has about 50 researchers, support staff and students who are involved in clinical sciences, biological sciences and education.

For example, “We spend a large amount of time trying to understand both the clinical side of what impacts contact lens comfort as well as some of the more biological sciences in terms of trying to understand changes that occur in the tear film when it interacts with contact lenses,” Jones said.
