Vitamin Science has announced the launch of its third ocular supplement, Dr. Krawitz Dry Eye Support, based on Krawitz Therapeutic Composition for the Treatment of Dry Eye, U.S. patent #7,638,142.

According to a press release from Vitamin Science, the dry eye nutritional formula will address the complex chemistry of the tear film.

Made with omega-3 fish oil from Alaskan pollack as well as natural turmeric root, flaxseed oil and black currant oil GLA, Dry Eye Support is designed to promote healthy tear production as well as provide long-lasting, soothing relief.

"It is our mission at Vitamin Science to provide eye health supplements that are constantly evolving and updating to match the latest scientific research," Paul Krawitz, MD, CEO of Vitamin Science and assistant professor of ophthalmology at Columbia University, said in the release. "With our new Dry Eye Relief formula, we are leveraging the newest scientific findings, allowing nourishment of eyes with an evidence-backed symbiotic complex that is both well-tolerated and highly effective in promoting eye comfort and health."
