VIDEO: Documentary tells the story of vision
LAS VEGAS – Blair Wong, an optician from Boston, presents highlights from the PBS Documentary, Sight: The Story of Vision.
Wong said the hour-long video, available in more than 13 languages, covers the history of glasses; the anatomy of the eye; future technology in contact lenses, eyeglasses and surgery; and inventions such as smart glasses and contact lenses that deliver medications. Interviews with well-known optometrists and ophthalmologists help tell the story.
