WASHINGTON – Josh Johnston, OD, said he uses Bio-Tissue’s Prokera, an amniotic membrane, for treating filamentary keratitis with severe staining in his dry eye clinic.
“It simplifies our treatment algorithm,” he said here at Optometry’s Meeting. This treatment speeds healing and makes patients happier, he said.
