MedOp Health announced in a press release that its new MaxiVision Meso Plus Formula contains all levels of carotenoids claimed on its label.

Nearly 3 months ago, MacuHealth and its CEO, Frederic Jouhet, filed a lawsuit against MedOp Health, arguing that an independent analysis showed a lesser concentration of the 10 mg of lutein, 10 mg of mesozeaxanthin and 2 mg of zeaxanthin claimed on the label.

MedOp reported in its recent press release that three independent U.S. labs confirmed that lot 33690818 met those label claims.

Craft Technologies Inc. found 12 mg of lutein, 10 mg of mesozeaxanthin and 3 mg of zeaxanthin, MedOp stated. Advanced Botanical Consulting & Testing Inc. found 13.7 mg of lutein, 10.18 mg of mesozeaxanthin and 4.28 mg of zeaxanthin. Covance Inc. found 11.0 mg of lutein; however, MedOp said that Covance does not break down individual zeaxanthin isomers, including mesozeaxanthin.
