WASHINGTON – Sondra Black, OD, shared her successful experience with the Kamra inlay (AcuFocus, Irvine, Calif.) after undergoing LASIK in 1988.

Black said here at Optometry’s Meeting that after she had the inlay implanted in 2013, “I was immediately able to read. I’m totally binocular at distance.

“It will last the patient throughout the whole journey of presbyopia,” she added.
