Hilco Vision announced that it has acquired the cases and accessories division of LBI.

Chett Lehrer, leader of the LBI’s Las Vegas division, said in the Hilco press release that the operations will remain in place in this location and that he will continue his leadership.

"LBI prides itself on an exceptional product and customer focus,” Lehrer said in the release. “We have strong belief that partnering with Hilco Vision will bring an even stronger proposition to our customers while protecting what we have built over more than 20 years.”

"The consumer accessories category is an increasingly important one for Hilco Vision as we seek to simplify the buying experience for our customers,” Ross Bownlee, CEO of Hilco Vision, said in the release. “We have long been impressed by the capabilities and loyal customer base that LBI has built for their cases and accessories programs.”

For the next few months, the companies will operate independently, with LBI handling support sales and services, according to the press release.
