Asahi Vision Inc. announced its first shipment of aLC-100 Lens Checker units to the U.S. after a successful release in Japan.

The aLC-100 Lens Checker is equipped with a tool for surface inspection of any lens type, the ability to easily observe progressive markings and the ability to keep records of lens condition and usage.

“Our development team has focused on providing an exceptional and useful piece of equipment based on the requests from several sources in the optometry business,” Tamaki Koide, Asahi president and CEO said in the release. “It’s really an honor to be aware that several customers in the U.S. are eager to use the Lens Checker.”
