FGX International, PogoTec showcase wearable camera

Foster Grant, a brand from FGX International Inc., and PogoTec, a leader in electronic wearable device enablement, showcased their collaboration at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

PogoCam, a small wearable camera, easily attaches to and detaches from Foster Grant sunglasses utilizing the PogoTrack design, according to a press release from Foster Grant.

“The styles we’ve developed with PogoCam represent a true turning point in both wearable technology and personal photography, allowing consumers to capture life’s moments with incredible style and ease,” Robert Grow, EVP product development, said in the release.

FGX International has created 12 skus and six different styles in two colors.

PogoCam can take up to 100 photos or 2 minutes of 720p HD video with audio and the device is water resistant and weighs the equivalent of 2 dimes, according to the release.

When PogoCam is inserted into a smart case, captured images can be transferred wirelessly to one’s smartphone.
