SECO debuts 1-day management course
MedPRO 360, a health care business management program, will debut in Atlanta on March 1, 2017, at the Georgia World Congress Center; the all-day event is hosted by SECO International, according to a press release.
The program will focus on how practitioners and staff can boost profitability with proven strategies in marketing, management, analytics, human resources and more, according to the release.
The event is designed for health care practitioners who provide first-rate patient care, but need help running their practice at the same level of excellence, according to the release.
The program will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and brings together various health care specialties.
The speakers include Daniel Kraft, MD, on the future of health and medicine. Kraft is a Stanford and Harvard-trained physician, scientist and entrepreneur with more than 35 years of experience in clinical practice, biomedical research and health care innovation. Kraft will examine emerging tech trends and how they are and will be leveraged to change health care and the practice of medicine in the next decade, according to the release.
Dennis Snow will discuss customer service abilities, which he garnered over 20 years with the Walt Disney World Company. He believes practices must “engage the heart” of employees. Once this happens, customers can see it, hear it and feel it in every interaction with a practice.
Owen Dahl, MBA, FACHE, LSSMBB, will share benchmarking and analytics in his talk on assessing a practice’s financial health. For more than 40 years, Dahl has been active in health care management.
John Slavich will share 10 steps to protect yourself from common errors in interpreting human resources rules and regulations, along with the legal issues that can arise. He has more than 20 years of progressive human resource experience.
