VIDEO: Clinical science backs dry eye treatment
ANAHEIM, Calif. – Scott Schachter, OD, reported here at the American Academy of Optometry that he uses HydroEye (ScienceBased Health) in his practice because a peer-reviewed paper showed improvement in both signs and symptoms of dry eye within 2 months.
He also noted the balance of omega-3s and omega-6s in the product.
“Gamma linolenic acid is the anti-inflammatory omega-6 that shows the best anti-inflammatory properties compared to fish oil alone,” he noted.
