VIDEO: Binocular iPad game improves compliance, efficacy compared to patching for amblyopia
SEATTLE – Dichoptic, contrast rebalancing iPad-based games were found to be more effective than monocular patching in treating childhood amblyopia, Krista R. Kelly, PhD, reported here at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology meeting.
Future studies should look at more long term effects of binocular iPad treatment, she said.
