New technology allows for mobile refracting
NEW YORK – EyeNetra provides an autorefractor, lensmeter and phoropter in a portable case, “so you can take your practice anywhere,” Vitor Pamplona, PhD, EyeNetra chief technology officer, co-CEO and founder, told Primary Care Optometry News here at Vision Expo East.
The technology would be ideal in the setting of conducting workplace refractions on-site, he said. “You can go to them, measure all employees, provide refractions or refer them for further care if necessary.”
