According to new study data from SynergEyes, 82% of toric wearers reveal that they frequently experience challenges with their toric lenses.

The issues they face include blurry vision; fluctuating, unstable and shifting vision; rotating lenses; and discomfort; with almost 40% experiencing problems three or more times a day, according to a press release.

SynergEyes completed a national study of 400 toric contact lens wearers and a clinical study of the four leading toric brands.

A total of 85% of toric patients must manually reorient their toric lenses to restore vision, according to the release. Almost half of toric wearers have tried multiple brands, and 59% believe there must be a better lens for astigmatism.

Nearly 75% of toric wearers would pay more for a lens that eliminates their toric issues.
