Mitsui Chemicals introduced the subsidiary Whole You Inc. in the U.S. to provide solutions for those with impaired vision, hearing and mobility.

Whole You, with technology from Dentca, PixelOptics and Panasonic Healthcare will create Whole You-branded products for those with sensory and physical challenges, according to a press release from Whole You.

Dentca’s health care products, including dentures made with 3D printing technology, along with electronic eye wear technology from PixelOptics and Panasonic Healthcare align with Whole You’s goal to bring quality health care solutions to the U.S. market, according to the press release.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there are approximately 20.6 million noninstitutionalized adults living with vision impairment, 37.6 million with hearing impairment and 74.6 million with at least one basic action difficulty or complex activity limitation, according to the press release.
