Vision-Ease Lens announced former CooperVision Inc. president John Weber as its new chief executive officer.

Doug Hepper will transition to executive chairman with more than 12 years of service at Vision-Ease, according to a press release from the company.

Weber joins Vision-Ease after 6 years as president of CooperVision.

Vision-Ease was acquired by the private equity investment firm Wind Point Partners in September.
