CooperVision launches daily disposable silicone hydrogels
DENVER – CooperVision introduced Clariti 1 Day, its family of silicone hydrogel daily disposable lenses, here at the American Academy of Optometry annual meeting.
The company obtained this line of sphere, toric and multifocal lenses through its acquisition of Sauflon earlier this year and is now significantly increasing the availability of Clariti 1 Day in the U.S., according to a company press release.
“Now eye care practitioners have more options than ever for moving a greater number of patients into 1-day lenses,” Bob Ferrigno, CooperVision president, North America, said in the release.
The company said that Clariti 1 Day is a high water content lens with high oxygen transmissibility and a low modulus. Trial sets are available, and the multifocal and toric lenses come in 30-packs while the sphere lenses come in 90-packs.
