MediGain, Nextech announce partnership

Nextech, a health care technology provider, and MediGain, a medical billing and reimbursement company, announced at the end of May that they have entered into a partnership to help practices increase efficiency and profits through their services.

“In an increasingly complex reimbursement environment, it is imperative that health care providers are able to enhance revenue cycle capability to maximize the financial and operational performance of their practices,” David Henriksen, president and CEO of Nextech, said in a press release. “We are excited to partner with MediGain to provide our clients with advanced claims, billing and reimbursement services. This partnership is a clear testament to our dedication to helping our clients increase efficiency and profitability to achieve their business goals.”

As detailed in the release, Nextech will provide electronic medical record and practice management services for MediGain's dermatology, ophthalmology, optometry and plastic surgery clients. MediGain will use Nextech's services in their medical insurance billing, reimbursement and denials management services, which are cloud-based.

“We are proud to partner with Nextech to provide medical billing, reimbursement and revenue cycle management solutions for specialty practices,” Greg Hackney, president and CEO of MediGain, said in the release. “By combining Nextech’s top-tier practice management capabilities with our full-service billing and reimbursement services, we are able to help our clients remain effective, efficient and financially stable.”
