CooperVision announced Bob Ferrigno’s appointment as president, North America effective February 2014.

Andrew Sedgwick, who formerly held the position, was named executive vice president of commercial strategy and business development last year.

Prior to joining CooperVision, Ferrigno worked 32 years with Becton Dickinson, a global medical technology company. He served various leadership roles such as vice president of global expansion, vice president of global strategic marketing and vice president of research and development.

Ferrigno is based at CooperVision headquarters in Pleasanton, Calif.
