RevolutionEHR debuts online marketplace
ATLANTA – RevMarket, a marketplace designed to connect customers with integrated applications and services, was introduced in a press conference here at SECO on Thursday.
RevolutionEHR, which provides the optometric community with cloud-based practice management and electronic health record software, created the technology, which lists nearly 20 applications and services that are available to RevolutionEHR customers as well as apps and services developed by RevolutionEHR, as detailed in a press release.
Scott Jens, OD, FAAO, CEO of RevolutionEHR, described RevMarket as “an app store for RevolutionEHR,” at the press conference.
"RevMarket has streamlined connectivity to partners, allowing more freedom to focus on the practice instead of logistics," Jens said. "It substantiates the RevolutionEHR user's decision to select a cloud-based EHR."
Some of the services and products listed in the marketplace by partners include mobile apps, e-prescribing, electronic claims processing, patient communications, data analytics tools and equipment integration software apps, Jens explained.
The services that RevolutionEHR is offering include RevCycle, an integrated billing service, and RevAssure, a monthly record audit led by Charles Brownlow, OD, FAAO.
“RevMarket is a classic win-win for our customers and partners,” Jens said in the release. “We’ve streamlined the experience for our customers to discover, learn more about and get started using a wide variety of apps and services that will enhance their practice. At the same time, we’ve provided our partners a place to promote their offerings.”
