The Mentholatum Co. has issued a voluntary recall of Rohto eye drops made in Vietnam, according to a press release.

The recall includes only products that were made in Vietnam, not products that were made in Japan. Products included in the recall are Rohto Arctic, Rohto Ice, Rohto Hydra, Rohto Relief and Rohto Cool eye drops that have lot numbers that include the letter “V.” Lot numbers can be located on the bottom panel of the carton as well as the bottom of the eye drop bottle, according to the release.

"The Mentholatum Co. is initiating the recall due to a manufacturing review at the production facility in Vietnam involving sterility controls," the company explained in the release. "To date, there has been no evidence indicating that product does not meet specifications; however, the company is taking this action as a precautionary measure."

Consumers that have any of the recalled products are asked to contact the Mentholatum Co. at (877) 636-2677.
