Hydrogel Vision Corp. has launched a new lens modality, the Icuity H2O 1-week replacement, which is an option for patients who would benefit from a more frequent replacement without employing the daily disposable modality, according to a company press release.

Icuity H2O is made with hioxifilcon A, a non-ionic ultra hydrating material that retains 99% of its water content throughout the wearing time and comes in a median and steep base curve. Available parameters include median +6.00 D to -10.00 D and steep -0.25 D to -10.00 D, the release said.

Free diagnostic sets of Icuity H2O are available directly through Hydrogel Vision and through any of its authorized distributors, according to the release.
