ABB Concise, Optical Distributor Group announce merger
ABB Concise and Optical Distributor Group announced a merger that went into effect Dec. 28, 2012, according to a company press release.
The merger brings together more than 120 sales professionals with the common mission of helping eye care professionals improve practice performance.
No disruption of service is anticipated during the course of this merger, the release said. Customers will continue communicating with the same customer service and sales representatives they have been communicating with at each respective company.
ABB Concise and Optical Distributor Group together supply more than 30,000 eye care professionals across America with brand name contact lenses, finished ophthalmic lenses, fully customizable gas-permeable and custom specialty soft lenses, said the release.
In addition, Optical Distributor Group’s Digital Eye Lab provides eye care professionals with cutting edge free-form ophthalmic lens designs and AR coatings through its full service automated lab, according to the release.
The companies also offer practice building tools such as pricing strategy tools, business reviews, annual supply staff training and e-commerce solutions, the release said.
