Student grant available for research on dry eye, OSD
The Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists Education and Research Foundation and the Sjögren's Syndrome Foundation will award a grant for scientific research on ocular surface disease.
In an effort to increase the understanding of dry eye and ocular surface disease, the groups will award a student researcher $3,000 on Dec. 31, according to a press release from the Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists (CLAO).
The anticipated research term is 3 to 6 months, and the applicant must be working towards an advanced degree through research in the U.S., CLAO said.
