Vmax refractor now caters to night vision needs

LAS VEGAS — Vmax Vision Inc. announced here at International Vision Expo and Conference that its point spread function refractor, the PSF Refractor, can now provide accurate night vision capability measurements.

The PSF Refractor also provides clinicians with subjective point spread function patient refractions with 0.05-D accuracy, according to a company press release.

"Until now there was no way to both assess and correct patients' potentially changing visual needs at night. This new subjective night vision test is an unprecedented method for eye care practitioners to now measure and dispense premium eyeglasses to patients that have changing night time visual needs," Shui Lai, PhD, founder and CEO, Vmax Vision Inc., said in the press release.
