VIDEO: Voyager direct SLT device helps improve access to glaucoma care
The Voyager direct selective laser trabeculoplasty device is now available in the U.S., according to a press release from Alcon.
In this Healio Video Perspective, Zarmeena Vendal, MD, discusses her positive experience with the Voyager DSLT and its contribution to interventional glaucoma.
According to Vendal, Voyager can help increase access to care for patients with glaucoma and offers “efficiency and ease” of use for her practice staff.
In addition, patients’ reactions have been positive, Vendal said.
“All of these reasons in a nutshell are why I find Voyager to be extremely promising in our ability to get patients earlier access for their care to really move the needle in this chronic disease,” she said.
