CARLSBAD, Calif. — In this Healio Video Perspective from the Women in Ophthalmology Summer Symposium, Analisa Arosemena, MD, of CorrectVision Laser Institute discusses Vevye for the treatment of dry eye disease.

Vevye (cyclosporine ophthalmic solution 0.1%, Harrow) features a water-free semifluorinated alkane vehicle, which improves the bioavailability of the cyclosporine and allows for faster results, according to Arosemena.

“As a user, I can tell you that it’s also very comfortable,” she said. “Ninety-eight percent actually say that they do not feel the stinging that we can feel with some of the other water-soluble cyclosporines.”
