KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. — In this Healio Video Perspective from Kiawah Eye, Jonathan D. Solomon, MD, of Holzman Solomon Vision Partners in Virginia, discusses his positive experience with office-based cataract and refractive surgery.

According to Solomon, patient outcomes have been “far superior” with office-based surgery, with benefits including increased patient comfort and less anesthesia needed in the delivery of care.

“What we have come to find is the outcomes, the experience and the efficiencies have all been enhanced since we have moved our patients to the office-based platform,” he said.
