BOSTON — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ASCRS meeting, Daniel H. Chang, MD, ABO, discusses tolerance to refractive error with the Tecnis Odyssey IOL.

Chang said the Tecnis Odyssey (Johnson & Johnson Vision) was designed with the issue of refractive error in mind, particularly when trying to correct presbyopia.

“The Tecnis Odyssey is a lens that provides that full visual range but also has a tolerance to refractive error similar to a monofocal lens,” he said. “The goal is to be able to provide better functionality with good ease of use.”
