SAN FRANCISCO — In this Healio Video Perspective from the AAO meeting, Robert Edward T. Ang, MD, discusses a study on the use of a small-aperture IOL in patients who previously underwent refractive surgery.
“Our study shows that in eyes with complex corneas, previous refractive procedures, the Bausch + Lomb IC-8 Apthera IOL is indeed a viable and reasonable and good choice for an IOL, which is No. 1, filtering out the aberrations and No. 2, giving you a good extended depth of focus,” Ang said.
