Bausch + Lomb launched SeeNa, an ophthalmic diagnostic system for refractive cataract practices that is integrated with the Eyetelligence surgical planning software, in the United States, according to a press release.
“SeeNa captures nine key measurements necessary for evaluating patients’ eyes” to help calculate IOL power and predict lens position, the release said.

The integrated system is designed to streamline information and surgical planning by offering a “seamless” flow of data from the office to the OR through a user-friendly interface that allows for easy upload of patient measurements and access to all necessary data in one place.
“SeeNa provides a new way for busy refractive cataract practices to enhance surgical planning efficiency,” Luc Bonnefoy, president, global surgical, Bausch + Lomb, said in the release. “Surgeons can gather critical measurements in a few steps, and the integrated Eyetelligence software connectivity combines these data points to help eliminate the need for multiple documents and avoid lost data and time.”
