NEW YORK — In this Healio Video Perspective from OSN New York, Parag A. Majmudar, MD, discusses the need for ophthalmologists to embrace a paradigm shift toward treating patients with keratoconus in the early stages of disease.

“Too many clinicians that I talk to are in the mindset that we don’t treat keratoconus until it gets past a certain stage,” Majmudar said. “We don’t do that for any other any other disease process — not heart disease, not glaucoma, not cataract. So, why are we doing that with keratoconus?”
