SEATTLE — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ASRS annual meeting, Lisa M. Nijm, MD, JD, invites viewers to attend Real World Ophthalmology: Top 10 Things I Wish I Knew Sooner, a free virtual meeting, on Saturday, Sept. 30.

The meeting will feature keynote speakers Paul P. Lee, MD, JD, and Jane C. Edmond, MD, who will discuss the “top things they wish they knew sooner” in their careers, along with 70 other speakers.

Nijm reports that the primary goal of the meeting is to share key pearls that are not normally taught in training to help young ophthalmologists build a successful practice.

“Because it’s a fall meeting, we’re going to focus on things like finding a job, contract negotiations, what to do after you get to your new practice to ensure success and a whole host of other topics,” Nijm said.
