SAN DIEGO — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ASCRS meeting, Helga P. Sandoval, MD, MSc, discusses visual outcomes in patients who received the Eyhance monofocal plus IOL.

The study included 74 patients with or without astigmatism who underwent routine phacoemulsification with both eyes targeted for emmetropia or the nondominant eye targeted for mini-monovision.

“Patients gained about one line of intermediate vision and 1.5 lines of near vision with the monovision with high patient satisfaction and less complaints of visual disturbances,” she said. “The visual disturbances were comparable to a monofocal lens.”
