VIDEO: New probe for transscleral laser therapy offers advantages
In this Healio Video Perspective, Nathan M. Radcliffe, MD, outlines why MicroPulse transscleral laser therapy is a viable option for patients who are not suitable for or do not want traditional glaucoma surgery.
“With this new probe, the more posterior application of the laser, the use of a coupling agent, and the appropriate fluence or speed of laser delivery, we believe that we have found the sweet spot of laser efficacy and safety, delivering a very safe laser in this setting,” he said.
