KOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2023, Yari L. Mitchell, of AcuFocus, reports the limited commercial release of the IC-8 Apthera IOL in the United States.
“[The extended depth of focus of the lens] works great in patients that have no astigmatism or even as much as 1.5 D of astigmatism without having any toricity in it,” Mitchell said. “We’re delighted to finally be bringing this product to the United States, and to see the early results matching our clinical trial experience is truly exceptional.”
