KOLOA, Hawaii — In a presentation from Hawaiian Eye 2023, Terry Kim, MD, uses surgical footage and real-life examples to help surgeons improve their approach to treating difficult cases of mature white and dense cataracts.
“There are a lot of choices for these dense cataracts here,” Kim said. “Choose the technique that you feel comfortable with, but perhaps with a classification system, we can actually guide surgeons in terms of what techniques to use and not to use in order to get good outcomes.”
