KOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2023, I. Paul Singh, MD, discusses intraoperative OCT and how it is utilized within the glaucoma conventional outflow pathway space and even subconjunctival surgery.

“We’re at a new stage in glaucoma, especially within the MIGS space, where we can now understand mechanism of action. What are we really doing to the canal? What are we doing to the distal collector channels? Does viscoelastic make a difference? How much viscoelastic makes a difference? The size of the catheter? We don’t have all that data yet, but now we can go to the next level with MIGS as well,” Singh said.
