VIDEO: Time matters when faced with corneal ulceration

“That extra hour or 2 hours it takes for the patient to get to a pharmacy makes a big difference in visual outcomes,” he said.
When put into the freezer, ImprimisRx’s Fortisite, a compounded combination of tobramycin 1.5% and vancomycin 5%, lasts for 6 months and can be used when needed to address these cases quickly, he said.
