VIDEO: New tear film diagnostic device measures MMP-9, osmolarity in one sample
CHICAGO — In this Healio Video Perspective from Eyecelerator@AAO, Leanne Labriola, DO, MBA, president of InnSight Technology, discusses the OcuCheck biosensor, a tear film diagnostic device.
“Our biggest question is, ‘What can you learn from a teardrop?’” Labriola said. “Right now, everyone is focused on dry eye for tear film analytics, which is a good place to start. We have designed the first sensor that can simultaneously measure MMP-9 and osmolarity in one sample.”
