VIDEO: Women show higher proportion of improvement than men after TearCare procedure
MONTEREY, Calif. — In this Healio Video Perspective from the Women in Ophthalmology Summer Symposium, Jennifer M. Loh, MD, discusses meibomian gland dysfunction in patients 1 month after TearCare treatment.
“While we know that the TearCare procedure (Sight Sciences) showed improvement in both males and females, there was a higher proportion of females that had improvement,” she said. “We think this is an important concept to know about, as we want to help all of our patients get better with their dry eye.”
