Voyage to EHR, Day 18

Aloha from Aurelia at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, at 23 degrees (fades out), 145 degrees, 39 west.

Sorry for the hiatus yesterday. Because of a high-pressure gradient, local winds and waves built to a level  (fades out) ... or since. This weather pattern is expected to linger until Sunday or Monday, so this blog site may stutter a bit over the next few days.

We’ve exhausted the last of the ice fresh veggies and fruit, so it’s on to canned food and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the days ahead, and hopefully, by the middle of next week, dinner in Waikiki Beach.

(Fades out) ….Hawaiian Eye Foundation.

John’s voyage is meant to raise awareness of the similar “expedition” surgeons undertake when converting to electronic health records and will also support the work of the Hawaiian Eye Foundation. To learn more about the Foundation’s work, and make a donation supporting their eye care and surgical training services throughout the Pacific, please click on www.hawaiianeyefoundation.org.
